The Biggest Weight Loss Scams To Avoid in 2019
Every year we are bombarded with new, never seen before, absolutely bullshit weight loss products. To save you time, effort, money, and heartbreak, here are the biggest weight loss scams to avoid this year.
Celebrity Endorsed Weight Loss Shakes
Even the idea that Kimmy K achieved her body through hard work is a joke. She was naturally beautiful and is now surgically enhanced so when she goes pushing weight loss shakes acting like they are the secret to her success, it makes me sick.
She posted this photo just last week and it has 2.79 million likes, that would equate to tens of millions of dollars for the company and her, that’s the sole reason she’s endorsing this product. Stay very away, especially from Kimmy K who once endorsed a shoe that apparently made you lose weight, WTF?
Blood or DNA Type Diets
Now, do genetics play a role in weight loss/gain/and management, sure. But, a person's daily habits and lifestyle factors FAR OUTWEIGH your genetic makeup. These tests and plans often cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars and will simply tell you to do what any expert would eat well, exercise regularly, enjoy life, stop stressing the small shit, repeat this every day and wollah, results. Save yourself hundreds of dollars!
3-Minute Ab Programs
Well, this is kinda another celeb-endorsed product but seriously, does anyone believe that you would get a sexy, flat tummy simply by doing 3 minutes of crunches? I’m actually getting angry writing this because, Charlotte has a huge audience of young, impressionable girls who I know would buy this in a heartbeat and only use it once. What the hell is going on with the world?
Your Friend Becoming A Health Coach Overnight
I had a guy come up to me in the gym telling me how he’s an Isagenix health coach and how I could feel great, lose weight, and make money just by paying him $400 a month for his shakes and then sell them to my friends and I can take home 10% of the profits.
Another time I came across an 18-year-old friend of my little sister who uploaded a 2-day transformation picture that was legit just taken from a better angle with better lighting claiming how her Isagenix has changed her entire life and how everyone needs this. I punched my phone and then threw it off a cliff.
